Allison Family 100 Summer Bucket List
This summer, the kids and I decided to sit down and create a bucket list of 100 things we'd like to do together. Some are simple and easy to do, some require a bit more thought and preparation. Some are silly, and some will help us remember to do unto others and never forget to count our blessings. All are bound to be fun and create a summer full of memories. Join us as we tackle these one item at a time over the next three months.

Dakota Buckette
This little lady followed the B.U.C.K.S. around during a recent camping trip. She appeared to belong to someone, but after a lengthy search for her owners, Troy and Jonathan returned to Tallahassee with her in tow. Dakota Buckette briefly called the Allison house her home as we tried to find her owners some more. But she proved to be quite the little escape artist (which was probably why she lost her owners in the first place), and her stay at our house was short lived. It's too bad, really. She was a great dog and made an excellent running partner. But the timing was a bit off with our house hitting the market and Keegan was scared of her. Still, she made us smile.
I saw it on pinterest
My awesome homemade teacher gifts! The cards on top say, "Thank you for quenching my thirst for knowledge" and have little individual Crystal Light packets inside. Well, I thought it was pretty awesome and that I was pretty stinking talented until Gavin came in and said, "Oh, cool! That's just like the one Michael gave Mrs. M. today!!!" Curse you, Pinterest!
end of an era
Well, here it is. The end of an era. Our house is on the market and we are in the final stages of planning "the big move", which has been a long time coming. Jay and I bought this house just after we were married and never dreamed we would have a family of five living here! We leave the house as a structure behind, but take years and years of happy memories with us.

It's always a contest to see who can get to the mailbox first. Today, Daddy came home at lunch time and left this note in the mailbox for Logan to find after school.
