Tigers Season Finale

The Tigers wrapped up an awesome season with a potluck, trophies, and a kickball game (Dad's vs. Kids, of course) at Winthrop Park. As the coach said while handing out Logan's trophy, he came to the team willing to learn and has come so far since the first practice. It was such a pleasure to watch him learn and grow as the season went on. We're so proud of him!

The Graduate

No more pre-school. Logan's so big now! It's hard to believe he's going to be a Kindergartner in the fall. Does he really have to grow up so fast?
Logan & Conner, BFF
Class of 2009

Typical. It was a LONG ceremony.

Proud grandparents in the audience
Ms. Carla

What is this place? A little bit of heaven???

Zoinks is so cool. It's basically a giant room full of bounce houses and video games for the kids, but it also has a toddler bounce area so Keegan could join in the fun! He was in heaven, to say the least, and thinks he's a big kid now.

Last Day of Pre-K3

The students of Betton Hills Prep PreK-3 ended the year in style with a fun morning at Zoinks. They could bring an adult along with them, giving Nana a good excuse come and play too!

Slippin' & Slidin'

The boys got a Slip & Slide for Keegan's birthday, which equates to a whole lotta fun for $5!

Love is in the air.
Vows are funny!

Star of the show!

Tired Boy #2 not wanting to smile for the camera.

Tired Girl #1 snuggling with her Daddy.

Tired Boy #3 sleeping on Nana (this one woke up when we left to go home and didn't fall asleep again until 2AM!!!!!).

Celebrating Chris & Nicole

We always have a great time with the Coddington family in Jacksonville. Boy, do they know how to throw a good party! This time, it was a luau celebrating Chris and Nicole's wedding. The kids had a great time running around and playing in the backyard, but the best part was the fact that they had hired a babysitter so the adults could relax a little!

another great Jax weekend

Visiting the McKee's NEW Atlantic Beach condo, Via Mare.
Mackenzie and Keegan

Keegan's first 2009 beach trip. He ate the sand, of course.

My little beach bums

The ride home with Nana and Papa (we stayed for a post-wedding brunch with the new bride and groom). Looks like it was an interesting 3 hour car ride!

being angry with God

The kids have been looking forward to swim lessons, which were supposed to start today. The weather is horrible so they're having an indoor "safety lesson" instead. Not wanting to risk my children's safety by driving out in the rain for a safety lesson, I've opted to stay home and told them it was cancelled so as not to be "mean mommy" in their eyes.

ME: Sorry guys, it looks like swim lessons are cancelled for today.
LOGAN: Aww, man!!!!!
GAVIN: NO!!! I wanna go to swim lessons! I'm so mad!
LOGAN: You can't be mad. 'Cause if you're mad then you're mad at God. 'Cause he made the rain!
GAVIN: Oh, ok. Let's go play sword fight.

pool days

"Keegan" got a new pool for his birthday. His name is in quotes like that because I've only taken him in it once. He loved it, but it was so hard to keep him from drowning since he thinks he's big like his brothers that I now only let them swim in it during Keegan's nap time. It keeps them occupied, tires them out, and it's shallow enough that I can just sit outside, read, and work on my tan!

the kids of Student Services

Children of psychologists. They look surprisingly normal, wouldn't you agree? We must be doing something right! This picture was taken on a fun day at McClay Gardens, our new favorite place to hang out. The boys ditched the swimmies on Day 2 (since the big girls weren't wearing them) and learned how to swim just like that.
