handsome

KEEGAN: And you're a very handsome girl, Mommy.

the days of the week

KEEGAN: Is tomorrow the weekend?
ME: No, it's only Monday today. And what comes after Monday?
KEEGAN: (holds up two fingers like a peace sign)
ME: Keegan, what day comes after Monday?
KEEGAN: I just told you! TWO-day! (looks at me like I'm not really very bright myself)

I love you, but I don't love these grapes

KEEGAN: Mommy, I like you and I love you, but I don't love these grapes. They're yucky. And so that's why I can't eat my dinner. But I love you.

Sweet Summertime: Part 3

Our fabulously fun summer continues with a visit to Miss Amy's house for pizza...
...and dinosaur cookies!
Drawing at a family dinner at Marcos. Yum!
This poor kid and his swollen eye!
Penguin hugs at VBS.
Keegan and I left (after hugging the penguin) and enjoyed some quality time running errands together while the boys did this...
And lots of skating time with our friends (pictured here is Dylan and Gavin).

That's just how the Allison's roll

Gavin was recently awarded an Academic Achievement badge for receiving all E's on his report card. When Master Murphy congratulated him on his good grades and hard work Gavin casually replied, "That's just how the Allison's roll". He has certainly been listening as that is the phrase we use to say, "Well, of course you ________ (got a good grade, stayed on green at school, ate all your broccoli, made a touchdown...)! That's just how the Allison's roll!"

Wordless Wednesday: Brothers. Friends. Same difference.

iPhone Phaves

Dinner at Cameron's house.
Gavin made Mr. Frog at school and for a long time, Mr. Frog stayed at work with Daddy. Daddy would text photos of Mr. Frog getting into trouble throughout the day. He now resides permanently on Mommy's bulletin board at her school office.
Daddy's view of the boys in a hotel room in Orlando. We had just arrived and Jay was tasked with unloading the car while I had the (arguably more difficult) job of entertaining three children who had just been cooped up in a car for four hours and were ready to hit the rides at Disney.
Test Track!

Keegan and his good buddy, DellBoy lounging around at Sarah and Lee's house.
We are waiting so patiently for our table to be ready at Salt Life!
Keegan meets Leah and isn't too sure about her yet!

an unexpected date at Steak and Shake

We were treated to an unexpected date at Steak & Shake. Well, actually we paid for our own food and everything, but they didn't have a table large enough for our party of 7, so the boys chose to sit with Nana and Papa. This left Daddy and Mommy with a little time to themselves for a "date lunch". Sweet!

Here is our view of that crazy, loud table that sat behind us!
