What I'm Loving Now: Keegan's Cape

Made by Gram, with love

I just paid $300 to help my dad shovel snow!

Quotes by Jay: "I just paid $300 to help my dad shovel snow!"

He made it to Hebron just in time for a historically, gigantic snow storm. The trip had been planned for months and the "kids" were looking forward to surprising Nancy. She was perfectly and utterly surprised and he was able to catch it on video for us to watch later. Well, they made it to town, but the rest of the plans were cancelled due to weather and they spent the weekend hunkered down on Ridge Road helping Roy shovel snow. Jay said he was perfectly happy just hanging out with the family and visiting with everyone. He could do without the snow shoveling part. I can't believe how big little Allie is!!!!

When I am 100 years old

When I Am 100 Years Old
By: Logan

(emphasis added by Mom)

When I am 100 years old, I would look very, very old. I bet I would live in a nursing home. I wouldn't be so grumpy like some of the grandmas and grandpas. I would be nice and peaceful (like you are now, Logan? Ha!). Also, I wouldn't have any problems with me (of course he wouldn't!).

What I would do for a living is I would work for Publix. I will be those people who make cakes. I'm really good at making cakes (this child does not have issues with self-esteem...also, I don't recall him EVER making a cake before). Then, for the final touch, I'll put on the frosting.

I will probably look like a dead bird (where does he come up with this stuff???). I'll have wrinkles, warts, and maybe a few freckles. My eyesight won't be good. I'll probably look ugly (haha).

     That's what I will do when I am 100.

Marriage Advice

Marriage Advice

(as part of a school writing assignment, Gavin was asked to write about
his marriage advice for his engaged intern)

To make your husband happy, maybe cook his favorite foods or let him sleep in.

To make your wife happy, let her go shopping and go to her hair salon and paint her nails.
