iphone treasures: December

Here are some recent treasures pulled from my iphone...

Rapper Keegs
I really want to make this shirt.
Gavin drew "Mommy's Red Milkshake". Looks familiar...I don't drink milkshakes.
Best Buds
This is how Logan put his shirt on to go to a Christmas party. He was running around the house complaining that it was too small and Keegan (you know, the YOUNGEST KID IN THE FAMILY!) was the one who finally told him what the problem was. The rest of us just stood around and laughed. I swear I'll still be dressing this boy when he goes to college.
This holiday card was added to our collection this year. Gov. Rick Scott and family.
Chillin' with Mom.
Daddy got "12 days of Christmas" this year. Mom got a Keurig. Both were happy.
Keegan and the kissing ball.

This officer was patiently taking questions from the kids outside the house a couple of months ago  while he was patrolling the area. Today, he made good on his promise to bring them back some goodies and wished them a Merry Christmas.
The skink is eating my cookies!
This remote control truck thingy (a Christmas gift from the McCormick's) is spinning around with my bra. The kids thought it was hilarious.
Camping chairs can double as video gaming seats.
Making homemade ice cream!
A rare trip to McDonalds.
Playing Beat the Parents. It's a great game...if you're a kid. If you're an adult, you will lose, lose, lose!

Toys, Toys Everywhere

We got all gussied up for the annual Toys for Tots party at Dover Farm. What's not to love about toys (for a good cause), food, and an open bar!?!?! This year, the Coddington's also had an invite and we were given two extra invitations to share with others.

I took this as an opportunity to get some new photos of the fam.

 Still Daddy's girl.
Upon arrival, Keegan was immediately drawn to his best friend, Chase, and family.
Oh, Lord help me! Can't you just see these two in the year 2023 at a frat party?
 Chow.
The very lovely Lauren. She gives me my "girl fix" on a regular basis.
The highlight of the evening (from the boys' perspective)...football, girls, and rolling down a huge hill.
Papa wearing Keegan's hat for the picture.

Gilchrist visits the Jr. Museum

These two best friends went on this same exact field trip in Kindergarten. They sure have grown, and they're sillier than ever, but they're still BFF's. Bless the poor teacher who has to deal with them on a daily basis. During summer orientation, I noticed that their two desks were placed next to each other (due to alphabetical order). I laughed and told the teacher that it was very nice to meet her and that she'd be reconsidering that seating arrangement shortly. The next time I went into the classroom, their desks were on opposite sides of the room!
