Now that the weather is getting a little warmer, hanging out in the backyard is what we like to do best. Keegan absolutely LOVES this little Flinstone feet car. Especially when his brothers push him around on it. Welcome spring! We missed you!

the Tigers are back!
Except they have renamed us the Royals. Same team, different name. This is Gavin's first year playing, and boy can this boy hit! Now if only we could get him to run to first base instead of third!

Love is...

Logan came home from school today with one of his journal entries. You know, the Kindergarten kind where you draw a picture and then write a sentence under it and along the dotted lines. It was, of course, a picture of him playing the Wii. What else would you expect? The sentence said, of course,
"Love is....the Wii".
Now, obviously this assignment was completed for Valentine's Day. A time when most kids are thinking about their crushes or friends....or maybe even their MOTHERS! But no, my child is thinking about the Wii. Now I know the true meaning of having a "one-track mind".

look what we've been doing
Here's what we've been up to lately...

We LOVE to play with the iphones!
Our favorites:
Keegan -- watching Elmo clips on youtube
Logan -- checking out the weather
Gavin -- playing games
Mommy -- talking to friends and family. Running up our minutes. Texting. Facebooking
Daddy -- reading the news, finding new free apps, checking email

Eating more popcorn and watching Sponge Bob.

Eating popcorn. Almost daily. It's one of Keegan's favorite foods.

Playing the piano. This thing is so loud! Someone please come and take it to Baby Mia!!!!!

Playing play-dough.
Laughing.
More Elmo.
Still thinking about Elmo. Also, sitting on the train table. I'm not really sure why he does this, but he does it all the time.
Showing off our recent artwork from school.
Making something in his workshop.
Brushing teeth for church. Probably thinking about Elmo, getting ready to play with Elmo, or about to watch an Elmo movie.

manners or lack thereof
I swear I have this same picture of each of my children. And I swear I never taught them it was okay to put their feet up on the kitchen table. Nonetheless, they all seem to do it at just about this age.
