my first day of summer
On my first day of summer vacation I ran a 5K, took the kids swimming, went to Walmart, cooked, cleaned, did 8 loads of laundry, built a Lego spaceship, played soccer, wrestled, changed 4 diapers, wiped 1 nose & 2 bottoms, conducted "school", read 3 children's books, bathed the kids & got them ready for their doctor's appointment tomorrow, cut 40 fingernails & 30 toenails (none of them were Jay's in case you're wondering), had a wonderful day just being a mom, and earned this glass of wine!

summer already? Jealous! The kids here don't get out of school until the end of June, but they probably have more vacations during the year! only a little bit longer until duck - can't wait to see you all!
