Wild Adventures Birthday Bash Day 1: Happy Hour Included

In lieu of having three consecutive birthday parties with loads of kids from school that we'll never see again, we opted for a family-only Wild Adventures weekend getaway celebration this year. As far as I'm concerned, we killed three birds with one stone AND it was a heck of a lot less stressful and time consuming on my part. We lucked out with a great Hotwire rate on a hotel that included a hot breakfast and...get this...a FREE HAPPY HOUR! Sounds like a little bit of heaven to me. In addition to your traditional grown up happy hour, they also had snacks, soda, and ice cream for the kiddos to indulge in. We spent most of the first evening out by the pool with the kids swimming and the adults relaxing with their cold beverages.
